Dish Network offers a wide variety of programming options, but perhaps the best programming options are the sports packages. With their many different packages, how can you even begin to decide what you want? I’m here to help go through all of the different Dish Network sports packages.

Initially, you can get basic sports networks like ESPN included in even the most basic packages, like the America’s Top 60 package. ESPN provides great coverage of a wide variety of sports. The next step up is the America’s Top 180 package, which carries tons of sports networks in addition to ESPN; networks like Fox Sports Net and Outdoor Life Network are all included with the Top 180 package.

The true sports fanatics will enjoy the Multi-Sport Package, which includes over 20 regional sports channels. You’ll have region specific sports games available to you, right from the comfort of your own home. This package is subject to some blackouts, meaning that if another network picks up the game, the normal channel will not air that game.

The next step up in Dish Network’s sports channel line up is a per sport, Season Ticket offering. The Season Ticket packages are sport specific, and Dish Networks offers baseball, basket ball, football, hokey, and soccer.

The Baseball Season Ticket offers MLB Extra Innings, providing you with up to 60 regular games per week. These games are in addition to the games that are shown on your regular networks like ESPN and FOX. And these games aren’t just in your region, it’s the entire league.

The Basketball Season Ticket offers both the NBA League Pass and the ESPN Full Court package. The NBA League Pass offers you 40 regular season games a week that aren’t picked up in your area normally. And, with the NBA League Pass you get access to NBA TV, a one stop source for 24 hour NBA information. With the ESPN Full Court package you get 30 games a week. And with that package you get games from all of the different conferences of college basketball, including the NCAA tournaments.

The Football Season Ticket offers the ESPN Game Plan, a college football package that gives you the football games that are chosen on a weekly basis. That means that you get to see games from all the nations top teams in the different conferences, including BIG TEN, PAC-10, ACC, SEC, BIX XII, and BIG EAST. And these are the type of games where rivalries fight to get into the post-season bowls, so you’re bound to see the best action available for college football.

With the NHL Center Ice package you get to see up to 40 hockey games a week that aren’t normally available. And, in addition to the normal games, you also get to see select first and second round Stanley cup games, Canadian match-ups, and games from CBC’s hockey night in Canada.

The Soccer Season Ticket offers MLS Direct Kick and English Premier League. The MLS Direct Kick offers up to 120 different games during the regular season, plus select playoff games. The English Premier League offers the cream-of-the-crop of Britain’s top soccer league. The Barclaycard Premiership has teams like Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

With the many different options that you have with Dish Networks, it’s obvious why so many people are choosing to subscribe everyday. Add in the ability to pause live TV with Dish Networks’ DVR product, and you have the ultimate in sports satellite TV.
